Haridwar Rishikesh Tour
Day 01— Delhi Arrival – Haridwar (210 Kms / 04 to 05 Hours)
Arrive Delhi, upon arrival meet and greet with our company representative and drive for Haridwar. Upon arrival check in to the hotel. After rest at hotel evening visit of various temples across the town and then proceed to Har ki Pauri (‘Har’ means Shiva and Pauri means gate) If you wish can take a dip in to the holy river on the ghats of the cool waters of the River Ganga. Later Evening witness the evening Aarti of the Holy River Ganga. This aarti is a beautiful ceremony in which deeyas (the oil lamps) are offered to God.
After wards proceed to the hotel enjoy dinner at hotel overnight stay in Haridwar.
Day 02— Haridwar – Rishikesh
After breakfast proceeds for the city tour of Rishikesh.
Rishikesh is Known as the ‘Abode of Sages’, this little town is situated at the confluence of rivers Chandrabhaga and Ganga. Rishikesh is also the point of origin for the Char Dham Yatra. Now, the town is also popular among yoga and meditation enthusiasts.
In Rishikesh visit Laxman Jhula, a hanging bridge on the river. In Indian mythology, Lakshman, the younger brother of Lord Rama crossed the Ganga with the help of a hanging bridge made of jute. While this present day bridge is made of sturdier metal, it is still a reminder of the adventurous crossing. Also visit Bharat Mandir, the oldest temple in Rishikesh, near the Triveni Ghat. This temple is dedicated to Bharat, the younger brother of Lord Ram. Over night at Rishikesh.
Day 03— Rishikesh to Delhi
After breakfast at Hotel proceeds for the Delhi. Upon arrival proceed for the Airport / train station for the next destination for onward journey.
